June 17, 2008: "Mayor John Salem Proclaims Homeless Awareness Week in Kingman"

Kingman Mayor John Salem signed his first proclamation Monday, June 16, designating Sunday, June 22 through Saturday, June 28 Kingman’s first Homeless Awareness Week. Cornerstone invited Salem and members of the Planning and Zoning Commission to eat at the mission the evening of Wednesday, June 25.
The mission, located at 3049 Sycamore Ave., will also host a walk for homelessness, “Walk A Mile In My Shoes,” beginning at 9 a.m. June 28. For more information, call (928) 681-3344 ext. 224.
